Richmond RCMP to unveil streets named in honour of Cst. Jimmy Ng on April 10, 2025.

Members of the media are invited to attend the official street naming ceremony in honour of the late Constable Jimmy Ng.

Event details:

What: Street Naming Ceremony – Cst. Jimmy Ng Road and Cst. Jimmy Ng Place

When: Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

Where: Cst. Jimmy Ng Road at Cst. Jimmy Ng Place, Richmond BC

Hosted by Richmond RCMP, this ceremony recognizes the service and sacrifice of Cst. Jimmy Ng, who was killed in the line of duty on September 15, 2002.

The ceremony is open to the media and there will be a media availability with Richmond RCMP’s Officer in Charge, Chief Superintendent Dave Chauhan, immediately following the event.
