Kamloops City, Information Wanted

Police are releasing a suspect image to the public in an attempt to help further an assault investigation.

The Kamloops RCMP Detachment received a report of an assault that occurred on Friday June 21, 2024, at a commercial establishment on the 300-block of Victoria Street. As part of the investigation, police have since obtained security video, which shows a male suspect in a black hat, orange shirt, and black vest.

The images are blurry, but we are hoping someone may be able to help us identify him, or witnessed the assault, which involved a suspect pouring liquid onto another individual, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson.

Anyone who was in the commercial establishment on the Friday night, and may have information related to this incident is asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2024-19698.
