Driver in tractor-trailer collision on July 16th succumbs to injuries

On July 16, 2024, at approximately 8:10 pm, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a collision involving two tractor-trailers along Highway 17 and 116 Avenue. See media release dated July 17, 2024.

The Surrey RCMP is updating the public that the 41-year-old driver who was transported to hospital on July 16, 2024, has succumbed to his injuries.

The Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team continues to investigate this fatality.

Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends at this time.
