Home Invasion suspects arrested

Quesnel RCMP arrested two suspects in relation to a home invasion.

On February 23, 2025, at approximately 1:28 p.m., the Quesnel RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion at a rural property approximately 10 kilometers south of Quesnel on West Fraser Road. Two men produced handguns, entered the residence and threatened and assaulted the victim. A firearm was discharged inside the residence during the encounter, but the victim was not struck by the gun fire. The victim sustained minor injuries during the assault.

The two suspects, Eric Joseph Heidemann (35) and Jerry Douglas Clement (58) are in custody and have been charged with several offences, some of which include: pointing a firearm, possessing a handgun for a danger purpose, forcible confinement, assault and uttering threats, as well as other firearms related offences.

The parties involved in this incident were know to each other, says Sgt. Clay Kronebusch.
