I was ecstatic when I got the email from Vancouver Police Department (VPD) that someone had found my bike. I'm very grateful to Constable Tjernagel. Folks over at VPD, project 529, Sidesaddle who registered the bike. Everybody involved. Said Joey Zhad.

The Coquitlam RCMP and VPD were able to use the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) to share information with each-other including but not limited to the serial numbers of stolen property. Using CPIC the police were able to work together to re-unite Joey Zhad with his prized bicycle.
