RCMP Recruiting event: Do you want to become a Mountie?

Coquitlam RCMP is excited to host the BC RCMP Recruiting Team for a Career Information Session on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

This career information session is for people interested in a career with the RCMP. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the application process, police academy training (Depot), hear first-hand accounts from Coquitlam RCMP and BC RCMP officers and ask questions.

We are excited to host this career information session to allow attendees the opportunity to learn more about the recruiting process, what we do and the countless career opportunities, said Media Relations Officer, Corporal Alexa Hodgins. This is a rewarding career with over 150 specializations. I feel very fortunate to be able to do what I do.

I have been a member of the RCMP for almost 24 years and I can’t image doing anything else, said BC RCMP Recruiting officer, Corporal Amanda Galenzoski. I still enjoy coming to work everyday and feel lucky to be part of this organization!

RCMP Career Information Session

• Date: Wednesday, June 19, 2024
• Time: 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Where: Room 2 at the Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex located at 633 Poirier Street, Coquitlam

Please register for this event through Eventbrite.

Please arrive prior 10 to 15 minutes early to ensure that the presentation can start at 7:00 p.m.
