On Monday, October 7, 2024 shortly before 10:00 am, Daajing Giids RCMP received a report of a person that appeared to have been struck by a commercial vehicle on the Honna Rd in the community.
Police immediately attended and discovered an adult man under the tractor trailer unit in the ditch of a steep driveway. Sadly, the man was deceased. CCTV was obtained and will be reviewed by investigators.
WorkSafe BC and BC Corners Service are engaged and have conduct of the investigation. No further information is available at this time. More details may be released as they become available.
