The Police Service Dogs of British Columbia - Mako

Each month the BC RCMP will feature a police dog from around the province including the Lower Mainland District Integrated Police Dog Service (IPDS) which includes partners from the Abbotsford, Delta, New Westminster, Port Moody and West Vancouver Police departments.

Thing that would surprise you about the dog: Mako loves to eat apples. During the fall, he will even pick apples right from the apple tree in our yard.

Memorable call: Mako was called to assist with locating a person in crisis. Mako was able to track and find the person safe and sound.
