Two suspects charged for Break and Enter

Williams Lake RCMP would like to advise the public of a recent arrest and charge approval in a break and enter investigation. 

On May 27, 2025 the Williams Lake RCMP Detachment responded to a commercial break and enter in progress at the 100 block of Borland Street, Williams Lake, BC. Two suspects had broken into the business and later discharged a fire extinguisher. 

Two individuals were identified by police as 26-year-old Jacob FUNK and 28-year-old Sekani POOLE and arrested. Police held FUNK and POOLE in custody and the pair were later charged with the following crimes by the BC Prosecution Service:

Sekani POOLE was charged with the following offence:

Both individuals were later released by the court on bail to attend court on June 4, 2025.

Williams Lake RCMP would like to advise there is no ongoing risk to public safety, as this was a stand-alone incident.

As this matter is now before the courts, no further details will be released.
