File # PSA – RCMP Recruiting in FSJ
Have you ever wanted to become a police officer? RCMP recruiting is coming to Fort St John for a few interactive opportunities for you to learn more about what a career with the RCMP and what becoming a Mountie looks like between April 10 to April 13, 2025.
On Thursday, April 10, RCMP recruiting will be at the Northern Lights College at 3:00pm for a career presentation with an opportunity to ask questions for students and anyone on campus who is interested in learning more.
Secondly, RCMP recruiting invites everyone to find their booth at the Fort St John Trade Show from April 11-13. Stop by, say "Hi!" and ask any questions you may have about policing and requirements needed to start a career with the RCMP.
The final opportunity is on Sunday, April 13, at 6:00pm when RCMP recruiting will present a two-hour information session at the Fort St John RCMP detachment located at 10712 100th Street, Fort St John. This event will give you a chance to hear about the variety of opportunities within the RCMP and the details of the recruiting process including requirements and expectations for applying to become a Mountie.
Recruiters request that potential attendees for the information session at the detachment register prior to attendance but registration is not mandatory. Register for the presentation here
