From November 19 to December 7, 2024 Lillooet RCMP conducted 3 check stops in the Lillooet area checking drivers for valid licenses, insurance, and driver sobriety.
Approximately 130 vehicles were checked, 6 verbal warnings for Motor Vehicle Act offences were given. One driver blew a Warn result on an approved screening device (ASD) for alcohol above the allowed threshold for operation, they were immediately prohibited from driving for 3 days and their vehicle was impounded, the matter was subsequently referred to ICBC.

2024-2534
On November 20, 2024 a caller in Lytton reported an unknown intoxicated male had stumbled toward her at a gas station earlier. An RCMP member later learned who the man was, there was no malicious intention however it was learned the man was intoxicated through speaking with gas station staff. The matter was documented.
2024-2558
On November 22, 2024 a caller in Lillooet reported a disturbance in Lillooet on 8th Ave; a man was heard yelling. A Lillooet RCMP member located several by standards in the area who advised a man had been wandering around intoxicated. The member located the intoxicated man who was being picked up by a family friend to be brought to a safe place/to be looked after. There were no further concerns.
2024-2568
On November 23, 2024 a caller in Lillooet reported someone yelling in front of his vacant business off of Main St. A glass panel to the front door was also broken. A Lillooet RCMP member attended and located a man rambling that a family member was inside tied up. The RCMP member went inside the building and ensured there was no one inside. The man rambling outside then made a spontaneous utterance that he had seen his family member inside and broke the glass to free them. The man was arrested for break and enter and released after being provided a court date and conditions not to go to the business again. The matter is still under investigation.

2024-2587
On November 28, 2024 a caller in Lytton reported on November 24, 2024 he had left his red Dodge Journey on the side of Hwy 8 near Spences Bridge as it had broken down. When he returned to the vehicle days later he observed his rear passenger windows had been smashed. The front high beam light holders and their bulbs were stolen, as well as a phone charger and change holder from the console unit inside the vehicle. A police file number was provided to the owner for insurance purposes as requested.
2024-2595
On November 30, 2024 BC Ambulance Service advised Lillooet RCMP of a single vehicle collision on Hwy 12 near Lillooet involving a grey 2024 Chevrolet Silverado. Lillooet RCMP and Stl’Atl’Imx Tribal police members attended. The driver stated he had swerved to avoid a deer on the road and lost control and hit a tree. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for a check up. A report to ICBC was completed. The matter was referred to ICBC.
2024-2639
On December 7, 2024 a caller reported he had located his stolen black Dodge Ram 2500 in Lillooet parked on 11th Ave at 2 am (Originally stolen from Kamloops). An RCMP member attended and confirmed it to be the stolen vehicle and ensured it was unoccupied. There were no items inside of evidentiary value. The owner had his vehicle key and was able to drive it back to Kamloops without issue. Kamloops RCMP were advised of the recovery of the stolen vehicle.
