Langley RCMP on scene for a report of a gas leak

On March 11, 2025, at approximately 11:35am, Langley RCMP responded to a report of a gas leak located in the 20400 Block of 72nd Avenue.

Our officers are currently blocking several intersections in the area along 208 St and 203 St on 72 Ave assisting the Township of Langley Fire Department, said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. The cause of this gas leak is still being investigated at this time and we can confirm that there are no reported injuries to anyone and affected residents are being evacuated.

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
