Pedestrian struck by vehicle, police investigating

A woman suffered minor injuries following a collision at the intersection of Summit Drive and McGill Road earlier this week.

On May 26, 2025, around 6 p.m., Kamloops RCMP Detachment frontline officers responded to the area, where a woman in her 20s had been attempting to cross Summit Drive when she was struck by a white car. The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle did not stay on scene.

The Kamloops RCMP are hoping that by releasing a photo of the vehicle involved in the incident, that the public will be able to identify the registered owner of the vehicle and advance their investigation,’ said Corporal Dana Napier Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson.
