Coquitlam RCMP is inviting the public to a recruiting session on July 25, 2023, which is co-hosted with the BC RCMP Recruiting Team.
This general information session is for people interested in a career with the RCMP and who want to stay within British Columbia. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the application process, police academy training (Depot), hear first-hand accounts from Coquitlam RCMP and BC RCMP officers and ask questions.
We are excited to host a recruiting session within our community, said Media Relations Officer, Corporal Alexa Hodgins. This is a great opportunity for applicants to connect with RCMP recruiters, Coquitlam RCMP officers and even start the application process on site.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own mobile device, tablet or laptop to complete the application process on site with a recruiting officer. This is a unique opportunity to receive real-time assistance with the first step in application process.
If attendees meet the minimum requirements and want to apply, RCMP Recruiters will be on-site to walk them through the application process and send them the assessment link once they have applied, said BC RCMP Recruiting officer, Corporal Eldon Orregaard.
