Police investigate multiple reports of theft from vehicles

On the morning of Tuesday, December 3, 2024 the Vanderhoof RCMP received several reports of thefts from vehicle’s which were parked at residences in the Vanderview Drive area of Vanderhoof, BC.

Culprits entered unlocked vehicles and rummaged through them, stealing various valuables. On the evening of December 3, 2024 Vanderhoof RCMP investigators identified and arrested two suspects in the thefts, and recovered various items believed to belong to the theft victims.

Vanderhoof RCMP continue to actively investigate the thefts, and are recommending charges of possession of stolen property, and believe there may be other victims that have not yet made a police report. Vanderhoof RCMP would like to remind residents not to leave valuables unattended in their vehicles.
