2025-02-28 13:47 PST

File # 2025-503

BC Highway Patrol is investigating a collision involving a commercial vehicle and an overpass that occurred in North Vancouver on Friday morning.

On February 28, at 9:27 a.m. BC Highway Patrol (BCHP) received the report that a truck was stopped on the shoulder of highway at the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge, south of the Main street on ramp.

Officers attended the scene learned that a grader being transported on a flat deck tractor trailer had struck the Dollerton / Highway 1 on-ramp overpass. Upon inspection minor superficial damage to the overpass was observed as well as damage to the cab of the grader.

BCHP and Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE) are on scene and will determine appropriate enforcement actions.

There are no road closures as a result of this collision, however road users can expect some minor delays in the area.
