Richmond RCMP seeking witnesses and dash cam footage for two vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
On July 14, 2024 shortly before 9:00 p.m. Richmond RCMP attended the 3200 block of River Rd. for a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
According to witnesses, a Black Kawasaki motorcycle was travelling Eastbound on River Rd. when it collided with a white 2021 Audi Q8. The Audi was travelling Westbound on River Rd. prior to making a left turn into a residential driveway.
The motorcyclist suffered significant injuries and was transported to a local area hospital. He remains in hospital and is in stable condition.
Richmond RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT) along with the Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) attended and processed the scene.
Speed was likely a factor in this collision.
Richmond RCMP CCIT have conduct of this active and on-going investigation.
