Surrey RCMP is advising the public that the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken conduct of the Strawberry Hills shooting.
On July 5, 2024, the Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a male who had been shot near the 7300 block of 122 Street. (See original release: Surrey RCMP Investigates early morning shooting that left one male injured.)
IHIT now has conduct of this investigation as the male victim has unfortunately died from his injuries.
