On Friday February 28, 2025, Vanderhoof RCMP were notified of a suspicious occurrence at the local post office.
Vanderhoof Canada Post office located a number of suspicious packages containing a powder. While the substance has not yet been identified, out of an abundance of caution, the post office has been evacuated.
The investigation is ongoing and at this time there are no further details available. More information may be released as it becomes available.
