Single vehicle fatal collision

On May 5th, 2024, at approximately 12:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle collision which occurred in the 1400 block of Highway 31, near Queens Bay, BC.

Upon arrival, first responders attempted lifesaving techniques on both the driver and single passenger. The passenger was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The collision is still being investigated.

RCMP would like to offer their condolences to the families that were affected in this tragic incident and thank the witnesses for their assistance at the scene.
