On October 30, 2024 police requested the public’s assistance in locating Jonathan Wilson. On March 13, 2025 police executed a search warrant at a residence in Fort Babine and Jonathan Wilson was arrested. He has been charged with assault by choking, forcible confinement, obstructing a peace officer, failing to comply with an undertaking and failing to comply with a probation order.
"The nature of these charges reflects the seriousness of the situation. Our team is committed to enhancing public safety and addressing crime through proactive policing and collaboration. This matter is now before the courts" says Staff Sergeant Mark Smaill.
Jonathan Wilson was remanded into custody pending a future court appearance.
