Pitt Meadows, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP is investigating a fatal motor vehicle incident that occurred on Wednesday morning in Pitt Meadows.
On June 18, 2025, at approximately 2:40 a.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP frontline officers responded to reports of a serious motor vehicle incident involving a pedestrian in the 18900 block of Lougheed Hwy in Pitt Meadows.
Upon police arrival, it was determined that the female pedestrian was deceased.
The Investigational Support Team (IST), Serious Crimes Unit (SCU) and the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Team (ICARS) were called out to assist with the investigation.
Lougheed Hwy was shut down West Bound for several hours after the collision.
This is currently an active and ongoing investigation and no further information is available at this time.
