Kelowna RCMP confirm that two individuals have been arrested in relation to the homicide investigation stemming from the incident on October 21, 2023 in the Rutland Community.
Both parties have been released from custody while this investigation remains ongoing and officers prepare a complete disclosure package for crown counsel.
Investigators with our Serious Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Section are still collecting and processing vital pieces of evidence Cpl. Michael Gauthier i/c Media Relations Unit. This is a sensitive homicide investigation. These investigations are lengthy and it is imperative they are done thoroughly.

Kelowna RCMP investigators are grateful for the support and cooperation of the victim’s family and numerous witnesses who have assisted officers with this investigation.
