Mission

2023-10-26 09:12 PDT

File # 2023-12957

On October 24, a large quantity of Lenovo laptop computers was stolen during a break-in to a commercial storage facility in the Mission area. Police are currently investigating, however the public is cautioned against purchasing any new or nearly-new Lenovo laptops from unauthorized sellers. The serial numbers of the stolen items have been flagged on police databases, and the associated Windows product identifications have been deactivated. Anyone thinking they are getting an amazing deal on a laptop may quickly find that they are amazingly disappointed when they find that their new computer is unusable.

If you have information about someone trying to sell new Lenovo laptops under suspicious circumstances, please contact Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161, file 23-12957.
